Jon Goddard from Kuala Lumpur joined us today together with Dave Prosser to continue their series of challenge matches against their annual opponents, both Angus Neilson and Jim Black.
After winning at Laem Chabang yesterday, Jon, playing off h'cap 6, continued his fine form with a gross 75 (net 69) playing from the blue tees, to win the day. Jon was level par on the back nine.
It was blue tees medal for everyone today on this well presented busy course and the extra length gave way to a number of NRs.
2nd place went to Dave with a net 70 (off 9), with Angus back in 3rd on 76.
Welcome also to Chris Bottonis and Michael Jordan, both from the UK who enjoyed their day and Michael is returning with reinforcements in January and I would not be surprised if Chris wangled a way to join him.
