Back to early start today (8.20) and the course was noticeably busier than previous visits.
We were a little late teeing off due to Angus's hire car refusing to start due to a flattened battery overnight, requiring me to give him a ride and a mad dash to get here at 8.18.
No problems though with the starter who who kept our slots open for us.
The course looked wonderful, even though there was a very slight drizzle, making the temperature very comfortable.
A special welcome to my old mate Angus and to Jim Black; welcome also to Maurice Copan, Greg Jones, Andy Redmond and Sato from Japan.
Winner today was Jean-Pierre with an excellent 35pts off a handicap of 10; followed home by Maurice (h'cap 9) on 32 and Angus on 29pts off h'cap 6.
We return here next Tues (4th Dec) with a tee time of 8.20am and transport is available.
